Kings X's gas works!

Behind all the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross and St Pancras stations amidst all the railway lines that radiate from them and a world away from the talk of how up and coming or otherwise the area may or may not be, lies Camley Street nature reserve.
The Camley Street site became a a nature reserve about twenty years ago and was created on land once used as a coal dump for the two nearby mainline stations.
Back in Victorian times the railways gouged their way through whole communities in some cases such as nearby Camden totally ripping them apart when the lines to Kings Cross devasted the heart of the area. The creation of Camley Street nature reserve has perhaps given a little back to the landscape and community as it is such a beautiful little suprise package and one I believe much used by the locals.
