There are a network of footpaths around Gunnersbury Triangle and pleasant suprises to be found as you follow them. My joint favourites are the pretty little pond hidden amongst the hillocks formed I presume by the old gravel workings and the nearby boggy area which feels primeval in a mini way.
Across one of the bordering railway lines you will see the modern office buildings (as shown on the opening page of this site and above right) of Chiswick Park, the logo of which you may notice if you travel past on the railway, it is 'Enjoywork.com' Ho! Ho! Ho! Chiswick park is largely given over to media business and was built on the site of a former London Transport engineering works where incidentally I had to visit to get kitted out when I started a two and a half year stint as a tube guard (position now obsolete) many moons ago.
Directions........Check the Triangle out, it is well worth the minor effort as the underground station is only about 30 seconds away it shouldn't take much planning. Nearest tube is Chiswick Park District line, exit the station turn right cross the road and you are there.
