ME sculptures

Mile End to Dalston 2

After leaving Silverman's I walked back towards Mile End station and popped into the 'New Globe' pub which is conveniantly located over the canal bridge and next to the toe path. After a lager and a packet of peanuts I set off along said toe path to begin my walk.
The canal runs alongside the Millenium Park at the start of this section and the toe path passes a man made hill and then three interesting metal sculptures; two off which are pictured here. I am unsure what they represent but guess at a Suffragette with a meat clever, a West Ham footballer and thirdly (not pictured) a Shire Horse, which would have once upon a time pulled barges along the Regents Canal, but who knows?
