  5. Thanks for a really great site. It was wonderful to see some of my local haunts being represented, but also fascinating to learn of some I had no idea about - I'll be heading to Long Wood tomorrow!
    Thanks again.

  6. Hi Pete, love the site. I too have grown up here in Middex and spent most of my youth pissing about in wild, in-between places. Its just so nice to see these online so that others can learn about them and escape London's boring greyness for a short while.

  9. Thank you for putting this website up and sharing your photos with us. I love walking and am always poking my nose in places - just love exploring! I have worked in St Bernard's Hospital since 2008 and have dragged a colleague out exploring with me at lunchtimes. When you cross the Hanwell locks, some of the fields there are amazing in Spring/Summertime.

  12. Hi Peter - congratulations - important website. Good to see I am not the only one interested in local history. Had my first solo exhibition dealing with my impressions of the Grand Union Canal from Bulls Bridge to Brentford recently and am quite obsessed with that stretch of water and what lies either side of it (and of course in it too - too much rubbish) (link: Keep up the good work. Thanks for sending your link via the OHRA email list. Cheers.
