I walked across the Horse Field adjacent to Windmill Lane towards Long Wood where I was afforded a view of Ealing Hospital which is due to be axed by the NHS. My son Toby was born in the hospital and it serves thousands of people. The nearest hospital is the West Mid in Isleworth in which I have waited four hours to be seen in A&E, the same as Ealing but with one going would that mean an eight hour wait?
To the right is a shot of flats being built between St Margarets Road and Trumpers Way on the Grand Union. Every scrap of land is being built upon whilst services are threatened, why?
Below, high density housing on the site of the St Bernards alsylum adjacent to Ealing HospitaL Undoubtably many more such flats will be built on the Ealing Hospital site but what about Schools and um Hospitals?
